  • Part Time Substitutes
    • The Hansen School District is looking for part time substitutes to join our team for the 2019-2020 school year.   • Director of Support Services
    • Hansen School District is currently looking for an energetic and enthusiastic person to lead our support services department. The individual chosen should be someone who can provide sound educational support for children with disabilities by coordinating services and developing resources.
    • Major Duties and Responsibilities:
      • Provides expert knowledge in Special Education Law, student exceptionalities, and State and District policies and practices.
      • Oversees and updates reports and grants as needed
      • Provides assistance to principals in all aspects of their special education services
      • Acts as the district contact for the State Department of Education, as well as all service contract providers
      • Coordinates the district’s self assessment monitoring
      • 504 Coordinator for district
      • Facilitates budgeting and staffing priorities and allotment with building principals
      • Monitor the following areas:
        • Frontline (Enrich)
        • Medicaid reimbursement process
        • School Admin Special Education knowledge/expertise training
      • Assist in the following areas:
        • Hiring and evaluation of special education staff
        • Special education related complaints
        • Alternative assessment issues (special education testing coordinator)
        • Records management
        • Instructional delivery 9(RTI differentiation)
    • Previous experience teaching special education, being a program director, and supervising personnel is preferred. This position is a stipend position which would preferably go along with our 7-12 Special Education teacher position (see current 7-12 Special Education Teacher posting).

  • 7-12 Special Education Teacher
    • Hansen School District is currently looking for an energetic and enthusiastic person to join our team as a 7-12 Special Education teacher. Applicants must be certified in K-12 Special Education. This position will also include working with paraprofessionals and behavioral interventionists. Previous teaching experience, as well as, experience being a case manager for IEP and 504 plans is preferred.

  • JR/SR High School Family Consumer Science Teacher
    • Hansen School District is currently looking for an energetic and enthusiastic person to join our team as a Family and Consumer Science teacher for grades 7-12 for the 2020-21 school year. This position could be full or part-time. Applicants must hold a current 6-12 teaching credential in Family Consumer Science.

  • 7-12 Ag Education Teacher
    • Hansen School District is currently looking for an energetic and enthusiastic person to join our team as a Ag Education teacher for the 2020-21 school year. We are looking for someone who has a current teaching credential for Ag Education in grades 7-12 and who is well versed in plant and animal science. We are looking for a charismatic leader for our FFA program; someone who will continue our current program and increase participation among our students.
